logos, comics, and various collectionsMy first year and half at Dark Horse was mostly spent working on their Star Wars titles. This was just before Marvel took over the license, and it was incredibly exciting for me as a lifelong fan of Star Wars. In that time I designed numerous Star Wars comics, trade paperbacks, and even a few logos. The highlight of my time working on Star Wars, was designing the logo for The Star Wars. This project was started shortly before the sale of Lucasfilm to Disney, and George Lucas was directly involved at the beginning. George had final approval on the logo, and it was paired with a piece of Ralph McQuarrie art for a limited variant. I don’t think I’ll ever get over that.
